Abstract
The article provides an assessment of the healthcare «optimization» program that began in 2012 in Russia. This reform has led to serious consequences: a critical decline in the workforce in the industry, a significant decrease in the availability of medical care, and an increase in mortality rates, which is a serious reason for analysis.
