Aim and Scope
The journal "Mother and Baby in Kuzbass" was created in 1999 on the basis of the Kemerovo Regional Perinatal Center, one of the first in the country.
The journal was a participant and one of the organizers of the Year of Motherhood and Childhood in Russia in 2000. The journal became the first and only scientific and medical periodical in the country that represents not a separate academic or scientific-educational organization, but the entire Kuzbass region as a constituent entity of the Russian Federation.
The journal has combined the efforts of state and public medical organizations involved in regional and federal programs to modernize the maternal and child health system and introduce innovative technologies.
The journal attracts scientists from different countries and regions of Russia to work together.
The aime of the journal: presentation of the most significant research results in the field of modern medicine aimed at improving the quality of maternal and child health.
Journal tasks:
- promotion to the global scientific community of the results of scientific activity of local authors of scientific discoveries and young researchers who can make a significant contribution to achieving our goal;
- involvement in closer cooperation of the most authoritative Russian and foreign scientists, the results of scientific research of which can make a significant contribution to achieving our goal;
- providing prompt assistance to authors in the effective use of constantly improving information technologies and modern automated systems at all stages of the publishing process: from the submission of a manuscript to the editorial office, professional adaptation to international requirements, and objective peer review, to publication and placement in Russian and global information databases;
- ensuring maximum accessibility of published materials to readers and, as a result, increasing their citation and demand from the global scientific community.
